Parking Structure 4
As one of the more popular sunset viewing spots on campus, making the trek up to the top level of PS4, located between Phase 6 of UV and ESCW, is worth the views you'll get of the horizon and the surrounding neighborhoods around UTD. I first discovered this spot from an old professor that recommended the top of PS4 as a great spot to record sunset pictures for a semester long lab project of documenting the movement of the Sun across the horizon. Ever since then, I've frequented this spot whenever there is a particularly beautiful sunset to get the best view. Other students also have the right idea, as I often see groups of friends chilling with some food or just chatting on the hood of their cars as the sun sets. PS4 is a great location for prime sunset watching as it is central to most of UTD's housing and academic buildings.

UTD Soccer Fields
With lots of wide open space and a variety of sportng events or pick up games happening weekly, UTD's 4 soccer fields, located next to the tennis courts across from the Activity Center, are an excellent spot to watch the sunset as well as enjoy some outdoor recreation. The walking trail around most of the outer boundaries of the soccer fields make this a great place to go on a walk or run while enjoying the evening colors of the sunset. I'd often see some beautiful sunsets as I cheered on my club's intramural soccer team and chatted with friends. This location is a convienent one for those who find themselves at the Activity Center in the evening hours or for residents of Phases 3 and 1 of UV and both Canyon Creek complexes.
